Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten

TK & Kindergarten are full day programs, and after school (NDVEP) available until 6pm. NDV students at École Notre Dame des Victoires (NDV) come from all different and far-reaching neighborhoods throughout San Francisco, as well as from various cities within the greater Bay Area. The administration and the faculty welcome a diverse student population thus creating a rich academic environment for all its students. NDV does not discriminate on the basis of race, national and/or ethnic origin, sex, or disability in its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic programs, or other school-administered programs.

The NDV community is so special and dynamic. We encourage you to attend some of the many school activities and events. In the admission season, we invite families to the Halloween Carnival on October 26, 2024, at NDV, and in particular, our annual fundraiser, the Bal de Paris. It will be a spectacular gala event for prospective parents with a raffle and live art auction benefitting NDV.  The theme of this years’ Bal is Le Bal du Centenaire on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Historic Fairmont Hotel!  The Bal de Paris, or any of the many events will give you a flavor for NDV’s singular community. Please contact the school if you would like to attend and participate.  We want to give you every opportunity to get to experience the NDV family.

Kindergarten applicants must be five years old by September 1st and meet the minimum requirements.

TK applicants must turn five years old within the TK year, by June 2025.

TK Dragon Camp & Kindercamp!

Towards the end of summer, newly enrolled NDV Kindergarteners are invited to attend the NDV Dragon Camp! This 2 week camp is in August before the start of the school year, and is a wonderful way to get students ready to start their Kindergarten year at NDV. Students will meet new classmates, participate in daily art activities, play in the classroom and on the school yard, and become more familiar with their surroundings. Students will also meet and become familiar with teachers, which helps ease the transition at the beginning of the year. Our goals for Dragon Camp are:
  • L e a r n the names of their teachers and classmates.
  • E x p l o r e different parts of the School including our playground, how to get to our classroom, the gym, and the Chapel.
  • P r a c t i c e classroom routines.
  • E n s u r e all students are excited for Kindergarten!
